We enjoy announcing new staff joining our team, but we take greater pride in introducing team members who have been with the firm for some time. Percept Research would like to introduce a member of our Client Services team, Rodney Alsup.
Rodney joined the Percept team in 2008 as a Senior Consultant. Dr. Alsup has significant academic experience as a faculty member teaching in both domestic and international EMBA programs, a domestic and international MBA program director, and business school administrator. He has more than 25 years of experience in management consulting and higher education program management and teaching. He has specific experience in graduate management education program design, corporate training program development and delivery, MBA program website design and assessment, and CRM applications.
Dr. Alsup serves as a key resource in translating client research into actionable recommendations. Rodney recently assisted several business schools in engagements such as competitive secondary analysis, literature review of industry press to identify niche opportunities for positioning a new executive MBA program, and an internal website marketing assessment to optimize lead generation.
Rodney is also the founder of MyeEMBA and the MBA News Digest. MyeEMBA provides MBA students access to tools and resources that help them live and work smarter while they are earning their MBA degree. Started in 2002, the GME News Digest gathers relevant and insightful global news about the MBA industry providing key takeaways and links to the original sources as a newsletter to subscribers. Past articles are accessible to subscribers as an archive for literature reference and market analysis of public news regarding MBA programs.
Rodney earned his bachelor's degree and MBA degree from Eastern Kentucky University, his Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky and also served as an enlisted and commissioned officer in the US Army and the Army National Guard. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Technology Professional.
