Percept Research, a leading management education market research consultancy, announced that Susannah Stayter has joined the client services team as a Marketing Communications Consultant. Susannah will help lead the firm’s consulting engagements such as information sessions optimization, influential testimonial development, social media strategy, and marketing communications. She will also serve as a key resource in translating client custom research into actionable recommendations.

Susannah brings over 10 years of experience marketing MBA programs to the practice. Prior to joining the team, she led the marketing efforts for Columbia Business School’s MBA and Executive MBA programs, executing an integrated marketing plan that ranged from display campaigns to content marketing to global partnerships and sponsorships.

Susannah’s greatest passion is consumer behavior, and she devotes herself to digging deep into data to create marketing campaigns that truly resonate with an institution’s target audience. This obsession with data combined with a creative approach delivered significant results for Columbia Business School during her tenure, including a 45% average annual growth rate of inquiries for the past four-years.

Susannah has consulted with a variety of institutions, ranging from small healthcare start-ups to NASA’s Technology Transfer Group, to arts organizations and wine apps. Susannah also enjoys helping institutions with crafting brand guidelines, marketing plan and collateral development, web analytics training, and email communications/paid media planning.

“We are excited that Susannah has joined our team,” said Brian Mahoney, Managing Partner of Percept Research. “Susannah’s experience with integrated marketing communications and background in management education offers our clients data-driven approaches to crafting and executing communication strategies resonant to various stakeholder audiences.”

Susannah earned her MBA from Columbia Business School, has a master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music, and a bachelor of music from the Catholic University of America. Prior to entering a life of marketing, Susannah was a musician, and received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in opera. While she has switched gears professionally, she maintains a deep connection to her musical roots. She lives with her husband and their one-eyed cat, Cleo in Philadelphia, PA.
