Percept Research Promotes Management Education Market Research at 2019 ACBSP Annual Conference

Welcome to Houston ACBSP attendeesPercept Research attended the ACBSP Annual Conference in Houston, Texas from June 21-24. The event hosted by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs brought together over 800 attendees.

The theme of the conference this year was ‘The Art of Developing Entrepreneurial Leaders’ with more than 70 sessions featuring presenters who are thought leaders in their respective areas, in three educational tracks: Accreditation, Teaching Excellence, and The Art of Developing Entrepreneurial Leaders.

Sessions and panels covered topics such as ‘Assessing Student Learning Outcomes,’ ‘Teaching the Netflix Generation,’ ‘Using Learning Styles to Transform Business Education,’ and ‘Developing Soft Skills in Future Entrepreneurial Leaders’ among others.

The opening general session featured keynote speaker Juan David Aristizabal, founder of Los Zúper, a non-profit organization equipping young people with the skills needed in the 21st century. Los Zúper combines media, filmmaking, tech and real-world events to build its education network with thousands of students.

The Accreditation Council promotes continuous improvement and recognizes excellence in the accreditation of business education programs. ACBSP accredits business, accounting, and business-related programs at the associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctorate degree levels worldwide. The organization currently has over 1,100 member campuses in 60 countries.

Percept Research exhibited at the conference to build awareness of its MBA Lifecycle Suite of student and alumni assessments specifically tailored to management education. These actionable surveys are designed to measure that change and reveal areas of improvement for management education programs as well as demonstrate assurance of learning and business school return on investment. These surveys can be engaged individually or all together for the longest lasting impact.

We also promoted our custom research engagements which include new program feasibility studies, in-depth interviews, admissions funnel assessments, and topical studies. Percept Research provides higher education market research and consulting for over 250 business schools worldwide and is celebrating its fifteen-year anniversary this year.

Percept Research enjoyed meeting new colleagues and learning about the management education market research needs of ACBSP member schools. The 2020 ACBSP Conference will be held in at the Chicago Marriott Downtown – Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois, USA from June 26-29.
