FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Charlotte, NC July 9, 2012— In today’s dynamic education landscape, it is more important than ever for business schools to understand and adapt to the changing needs of executive education and development. That’s why the International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON) conducts its State of Executive Education Survey each year and recently commissioned Percept Research.
UNICON is a global consortium of leading business schools with a commitment to management, executive education and development. UNICON sponsors and conducts research studies that bring to the forefront this unique value of business school-based executive education. UNICON membership is composed of nearly 100 educational institutions from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Since 2001, UNICON has conducted the State of Executive Education Survey to represent a snapshot into the collective experience of UNICON member schools. The study explores current and anticipated changes to the delivery of open enrollment and custom executive programs as well as establishes a year-over-year benchmark for business schools worldwide.
Bill Scheurer, UNICON Executive Director, shared why the consortium chose to Percept Research to conduct the study. “We previously surveyed members internally and chose Percept Research to provide a robust survey design and professional analytics. We expect to achieve more accurate information and higher response rates by using a third party research firm to collect confidential data, which will create greater value for our membership.”
Brian Mahoney, Managing Partner of Percept Research, said, “UNICON is well respected as the Voice of Executive Education and we are pleased that the consortium engaged our firm as their research partner.”
UNICON will present the results of the 2012 State of Executive Education Survey at the Team Development Conference hosted by University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business from November 23-30.
