Percept Research Attends Executive MBA Council 2011 Conference

Marinda Hamann, Michelle Maki, and Brian Mahoney of Percept Research, attended the 2011 Executive MBA Council Conference in Key Biscayne, Florida from October 16-19.

The meeting sessions provided insights on curriculum innovations, program design, global issues, admissions and marketing, and other key areas.  The conference this year also featured a career services track of sessions.

The Percept Research team collaborated with the council's Center for Research to present worldwide industry trends during the first presentation of the conference. 

The Center for Research directs the research initiatives of the council and is represented by Carol Newcomb (Ohio State University), Louise Kapustka (University of Washington), George Bobinski (Binghamton University) and Brian Mahoney (Percept Research).

Data were presented from the council's annual Membership Program Survey, administered by Percept Research.  This survey benchmarks global trends in executive MBA programs. 

The industry research presentation also featured a panel of EMBA administrators to discuss how they utilize the industry research data to drive change in their programs.  The panel included Beatrix Dart (Associate Dean, University of Toronto), Cathy Molony (Senior Associate Director, University of Pennsylvania), and Marci Armstrong (Associate Dean, Southern Methodist University).

The Center for Research also hosted a focus group of members at the conference to solicit ideas for enhancing the research initiatives conducted for the industry.
